US Steel Kosice Q3 shipments increase, prices tumble
Flat steelmaker US Steel Kosice increased shipments by 3% year-on-year in the third quarter to 1.02 million net tons. Average selling price, however, plunged to $516/nt from $671/nt while ebitda was down to $39 million from $52m. Capital expenditure rose to $33m from $23m.
