US Steel Kosice idles blast furnace for maintenance
US Steel Kosice (USSK) has idled blast furnace no.2 for a 60-day planned maintenance starting 4 September, the company confirms to Kallanish.
The Slovakian steelmaker says it continues to operate facilities in line with demand and will adjust its maintenance schedules accordingly.
