US Steel expects difficult fourth quarter
US Steel predicts continued pricing woes in the fourth quarter, Kallanish hears on the company’s Q3 conference call.
Chief financial officer Kevin Bradley told analysts during the call that “...we’ve seen bottom in North American flat-rolled,” but the sudden price downturn will likely “...flow in and impact the fourth quarter negatively on a go-forward basis, though we’re more optimistic about the pricing environment.”
