US Steel enters confidentiality agreements with multiple bidders
US Steel is clarifying that it continues to receive acquisition interest from multiple suitors, not just Cleveland-Cliffs.
The 122-year-old Pittsburgh-based steelmaker explains its current position as the unsolicited recipient of several purchase proposals, Kallanish learns from a letter to stockholders on Tuesday. As such, the letter states that US Steel would be “entering into customary confidential agreements with numerous third parties.”
