US Steel confirms tentative agreement with USW
The United States Steel Corporation (USSC) says that it had made a tentative agreement with the United Steelworkers (USW) on a successor three-year collective bargaining agreement in a statement sent to Kallanish.
This will cover approximately 18,000 USW-represented employees at USSC domestic flat-rolled and iron ore mining facilities as well as tubular operations in Fairfield, Ala., Lorain, Ohio and Lone Star, Texas, the steelmaker says. The tentative agreement…
