US Steel Canada asks for more time, money

Bankrupt steelmaker US Steel Canada is asking an Ontario court for more time and money to complete its restructuring, Kallanish learns from court documents. The company’s chief restructuring officer, William Aziz of Bluetree Advisors II Inc, has requested an extension of the company’s stay of proceedings from its current expiration date of 28 July to 30 November.
