US sheet producers join in new hike
US sheet producers are making another push for higher prices, and buyers say this hike could have some legs to it, Kallanish understands.
Nucor and NLMK USA have released customer letters announcing an immediate increase of $30/short ton on spot sheet products. NLMK attributes the hike to “… improving market demand, extending lead times, and increased raw material costs.”
