US sheet producers ease into second increase
US sheet producers appear to be gearing up for another increase, Kallanish hears from market sources.
The previous $30/short ton increase appears to be holding hot-rolled to a floor of $500/st, says one top-tier mill source. At least two major mills, sources say, have now unofficially established $520/st as their minimum hot-rolled price and $740/st as their minimum cold-rolled price.
