US sheet producers announce new hikes
A new round of US sheet base price hikes has been kicked off by NLMK USA. Both buy- and sell-side sources predict most hot-rolled asking prices will be around $500/short ton by early next week.
NLMK’s announcement brings its hot-rolled base price to $500/st. Cold-rolled and galvanized are similarly up to $680/st, according to customer reports.
