US sheet prices maintain wide spread
Hot rolled and cold rolled coil pricing has remained firm despite price increases from Nucor last week, Kallanish reports.
Hot rolled coil is between $800-$900/short ton, while cold rolled coil is between $1,200-1,300/st. All prices are ex-works, domestic mill.
One buy-side source attributes the relatively wide spread to “a little geography, a lot of quantity of the buy.”
