US sheet market stays steady, attracts imports
Transaction prices were fairly flat in the US sheet market last week. There is uncertainty looming, however, as the market faces what may be the peak of a historic run in pricing as well as more attractive import offers.
Kallanish is maintaining its weekly hot-rolled price at $1,940-1,960/short ton and cold-rolled at $2,150-2,200/st, ex-works, domestic mill.
