US sheet market searches for stability
US sheet prices continued to soften slightly Monday as the market searches for stability, with dwindling buyer inventories, healthy mill backlogs, and robust demand persisting.
The weekly spot hot-rolled coil price maintained by Kallanish is being lowered by $10/short ton to $1,910-1,930/st, ex-works, domestic mill. The cold-rolled price is being held at $2,150-2,200/st.
