US sheet buyers react to USS contract news
US Steel’s decision to not pursue spot market-based contracts in 2020 has roiled some domestic sheet buyers, Kallanish reports.
One Midwest buyer says the decision gives US Steel more flexibility and negates possible price-resets due to late deliveries or other factors.
