US scrap prices likely to drop in April
As a result of uncertainty prevailing in the global steel market due to the spreading coronavirus outbreak and quarantine measures, the US domestic scrap market is no longer expected to improve.
Although market participants were bullish for April scrap pricing immediately after March prices were settled, the bullish sentiment has now disappeared as trading activities both in export and domestic markets are slow.
