US, Russia drive Turkey's June scrap import surge
Turkish scrap imports surged 42% on-year in June to 1.84 million tonnes, according to Turkish Statistical Institute (TUIK) data monitored by Kallanish. Their average value was $356.5/tonne versus $278.7/t in the year-earlier month.
