US raw steel production up week on week
US raw steel production increased slightly week on week in the period ended 25 June but fell year on year, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
US raw steel production stands at 1.757 million short tons at 75.1% capability utilisation, up 0.4% from the week ended 18 June, when capability utilisation was 74.8%, but down -0.2% from the week of 25 June, 2015, when capability utilisation was 74.4%.
