US raw steel production slips
US raw steel production fell both on week and on year in the week ended 24 June, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
US raw steel production stands at 1.729 million short tons at 74.2% capability utilisation, down -0.6% from last week, when utilisation was 74.6%, and down -1.5% from the equivalent week last year, when utilisation was 75.1%.
