US raw steel production rises again
US raw steel production is up both week on week and year on year for the week ended 11 June, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
US raw steel production stands at 1.779 million short tons at 76.1% capability utilisation, up 1.1% from the week prior when capability utilisation was 75.3% and up 2.2% from the week of 11 June 2015 when capability utilisation was 73.7%.
