US raw steel production rises
US raw steel production increased both on week and on year in the week ended 25 February, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
US raw steel production stands at 1.77 million short tons at 74.7% capability utilisation, up 0.2% from last week, when capability utilisation was 74.6%, and up 3.6% from last year, when capability utilisation was 73.1%.
