US raw steel production increases on-week
US raw steel production rose in the week ended 13 June, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
US raw steel production stands at 1.21 million short tons at 54% capability utilisation, up 1.3% from the previous week, when utilisation was 53.3%, but down -35.1% from the equivalent week last year, when utilisation was 80.1%.
