US raw steel production increases again on-week
US raw steel production increased on-week in the week ended 27 July, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
US raw steel production stands at 1.32 million short tons at 58.9% capability utilisation, up 1.1% from the previous week, when utilisation stood at 58.3%, but down -28.5% from the equivalent week last year, when utilisation stood at 79.4%.
