US raw steel production increases
US raw steel production increased both on week and on year in the week ended 28 October, Kallanish hears from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
US raw steel production stands at 1.739 million short tons at 74.6% capability utilisation, up 0.5% from last week, when utilisation was 74.3%, and up 5.1% from the equivalent week last year, when utilisation was 70.8%.
