US raw steel production inches up
US raw steel production appears to have ticked up in the week ended 5 November, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
US raw steel production stands at 1.602 million short tons at 67.5% capability utilisation, up 1.7% from the previous week, when capability utilisation was 66.4%, and up 4.2% from last year, when capability utilisation was 64.2%.
