US raw steel production heads up
US raw steel production ticked up in the week ended 20 June, though it remains down on-year, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
US raw steel production stands at 1.224 million short tons at 54.6% capability utilisation - up 1.2% from last week, when utilisation was 54%, but down -34.3% from the equivalent week last year, when utilisation was 80.1%.
