US raw steel production grows
US raw steel production rose both on week and on year in the week ended 13 November, Kallanish reports.
US raw steel production stands at 1.739 million short tons at 74.6% capability utilisation, up 1.4% from last week, when utilisation was 73.6%, and up 9.3% from the equivalent week last year, when utilisation was 67.1%.
