US raw steel production falls on week, year
US raw steel production fell both on-week and on-year in the week ended 22 February, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
US raw steel production stands at 1.901 million short tons at 81.5% capability utilisation, down -0.3% from the previous week, when utilisation was 81.8%, and down -0.8% from the equivalent week last year, when utilisation was 82.4%.
