US raw steel production falls from last week
US raw steel production fell on week but remains up on year, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
US raw steel production stands at 1.93 million short tons at 82.9% capability utilisation, down -0.6% from last week, when utilisation was 83.4%, but up 5.7% from the equivalent week last year, when utilisation was 78.3%.
