US raw steel production falls
US raw steel production fell both on week and on year in the week ended 20 August, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
US raw steel production stands at 1.655 million short tons at 70.8% capability utilisation, down -1.8% from last week, when capability utilisation was 72.1%, and down -4.1% from last year, when capability utilisation was 72.2%.
