US raw steel production falls
US raw steel production slipped both on week and on year in the week ended 22 April, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
US raw steel production stands at 1.715 million short tons at 73.6% capability utilisation, down -1.4% from last week, when capability utilisation was 74.6%, and down -1% from the equivalent week last year, when utilisation was 72.6%.
