US raw steel production drops
US raw steel production fell both on week and on year in the week ended 10 February, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
Weekly production stands at 1.737 million short tons at 74.5% capability utilisation, down -0.6% from the previous week, when utilisation was 75%, and down -1.9% from the equivalent week last year, when utilisation was 75.9%.
