US raw steel production down week on week
US raw steel production appears to have ticked down from last week, but remains up year on year, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
In the week ended March 19, US raw steel production fell 3.1% to 1.668 million st at 71.3% capability utilisation. In the week prior, raw steel production was 1.722m st at 73.6% capability utilization.
