US raw steel production dips on-week
US raw steel production slipped from last week but remains up from last year, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
US raw steel production stands at 1.747 million short tons at 73.7% capability utilisation, down -2.5% from last week, when capability utilisation was 75.6%, but up 3.7% from the equivalent week last year, when capability utilisation was 72.1%.
