US raw steel production dips
US raw steel production fell both on week and on year in the week ended 14 September, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
US raw steel production stands at 1.811 million short tons at 77.8% capability utilisation, down -1.3% from the previous week, when utilisation was 78.8%, and down -2.9% from the equivalent week last year, when utilisation was 79.6%.
