US raw steel production continues growth
US raw steel production rose both on week and on year in the week ended 9 March, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
US raw steel production stands at 1.941 million short tons at 83.4% capability utilisation, up 0.7% from the previous week, when utilisation was 82.8%, an up 6.3% from the equivalent week last year, when utilisation was 78.3%.
