US raw steel inches up on-week
US raw steel production rose slightly on-week in the week ended 20 February, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
US raw steel production stands at 1.745m short tons at 77% capability utilisation - up 0.1% from the previous week, when utilisation was 76.9%, but down 7.2% from the equivalent week last year, when utilisation was 81.3%.
