US raw production falls on week
US raw steel production slipped on week but remains up on year, Kallanish learns from the American Iron and Steel Institute.
US raw steel production stands at 1.737 million short tons at 74.5% capability utilisation, down -0.7% from the previous week, when capability utilisation was 75.1%, and up 0.3% from the equivalent week last year, when capability utilisation was 74.1%.
