US president rejects Keystone XL pipeline
TransCanada’s proposed Keystone XL Pipeline would not serve the national interests of the U.S. and, thus, the U.S. State Department has rejected the $8 billion project, President Obama announced Friday.
Obama, at a hastily called press conference said there has been a great deal of hyper rhetoric on both sides of the XL project.
