US prepares wire rod case against 10 countries
Four domestic steelmakers have initiated an anti-dumping trade case concerning wire rod from 10 countries, Kallanish reports.
The petitioners allege that Belarus, Italy, South Korea, Russia, South Africa, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine, the United Arab Emirates and the United Kingdom are dumping wire rod into the US market. The petitioning companies are Nucor, Gerdau Ameristeel, Keystone Consolidated and Charter.
