US plate sentiment gloomier as prices drop
US plate prices have decreased to $1,480-1,500/short ton from last week when the range was $1,490-1,510/st, Kallanish learns.
“We are waiting for Nucor's July numbers. Nucor is still two months away from consistent production. Prices are all over the place,” a distribution source explains.
