US plate prices decrease, contradicting mill announcements
Pricing for domestically produced carbon steel plate in the US is down this week, with market sources telling Kallanish that actual mill offers are below their published prices.
US plate prices now range from $900-1,000/short ton, down from $920-1,000/st the previous week.
