US plate price hikes face challenging market
The extant US plate price increases now in effect are going to face significant headwinds, Kallanish hears from market sources.
Evraz North America led off the push for higher base prices with $40/short ton. That increase was largely ignored by the market until Nucor this week announced its own $40/st increase.
