US OCTG prices tread water
US oil country tubular pricing was unchanged for the week ended 3 May, Kallanish learns from market sources.
Despite some signs of firming, there is still a significant amount of inventory in the system and demand is lacklustre. Both the US and Canadian rig counts fell during the week, and both are negative for the year.
Kallanish puts representative product P110 domestic welded casing at $1,300-1,350/short ton. All prices are ex-works, domestic mill.
