US OCTG prices sink further
US oil country tubular goods (OCTG) pricing continued to erode Friday as the North American rig count stayed lacklustre, Kallanish reports.
P110 domestic welded casing prices dropped to $1,250-$1,300/short ton.
“Demand and therefore OCTG pricing is still softening,” says one buy-side source.
The US rig count remains up more than 400 over last year’s historic lows, but it retreated again Friday to 935.
