US OCTG prices sink as inventory remains high
US prices of OCTG representative product P110 5.5-inch sank to even lower levels as inventories continued to remain excessive.
The P110 5.5-inch product is now transacting in the $2,440-2,510/short ton range. The prices represent a $200 decrease from last week when the product was transacting between $2,640-2,710/st.
“There is still lots of inventory. All sales I know of are from distributor inventory,” a buy-side source tells Kallanish.
