US OCTG prices prepare for third-quarter rise
US oil country tubular goods prices are poised to rise soon, according to market sources.
Kallanish currently has P110 domestic welded casing at $1,750-1,850/short ton. All prices are ex-works, domestic mill.
That range is likely to hold through the very end of the second quarter, says one Gulf Coast buyer. Prices should begin to rise rapidly in Q3 however due to on-going steady demand and the impacts of the 232 national security tariff.
