US OCTG prices establish firmer floor
US oil country tubular goods prices are beginning to firm as a result of gains in the skelp arena, but inventory overhand remains an issue, Kallanish hears from market sources.
Kallanish held its domestic welded P110 casing price Friday at $1,200-1,250/short ton, where it has been stable for several weeks.
Sheet, however, has moved up from an expected year-end price of $630/st to a midpoint of $640/st, with at least some sources claiming deals of $650/st.
