US OCTG prices continue softening
US oil country tubular goods prices continued their slide Friday, a pattern buyers say is likely to continue through year-end, Kallanish understands.
Kallanish dropped its representative P110 domestic welded price to $1,600-1,700/short ton. All prices are ex-works, domestic mill.
Even that $1,700/st figure is becoming increasingly hard for mills to attain, with $1,650/st a much more common pricing point, says one Gulf Coast buyer.
