US OCTG mills look for higher prices
US oil country tubular goods producers are pushing for higher prices, but willing buyers remain hard to find, Kallanish learns from market sources.
One buy-side source says some mills are asking for as much as $1,000/short ton for P110 welded casing. However, prices remain mired around the $900/st mark, he says.
“There are few takers,” he says. “It’s still soft.”
Kallanish held its P110 price Friday at $880-900/st.
