US nonresidential construction spending slips in April
The US Census Bureau has downwardly revised some national construction-spending calculations from the first quarter, although the current pace is still generally well above 2023 levels, Kallanish understands.
Nonresidential construction in April was at a seasonally adjusted annual rate of $721.5 billion, 0.3% below the revised March estimate of $723.8 billion, the bureau states in its monthly report on Monday.
