US non-residential construction declines in May
US non-residential construction starts continued to decline in May, with construction levels for the sector remaining down in both a monthly and on-year comparison, Kallanish learns.
According to an industry analysis by ConstructConnect, the volume of US non-residential construction starts in May totaled $32.5 billion. This marks a 2% decline from April, during which non-residential construction starts totaled $33.2 billion.
